With its grand opening this past weekend, this brand-new establishment is set to redefine family-friendly entertainment in the Tri-Cities.
A World of Activities Under One Roof
The Quake Family Fun Center is a sprawling indoor facility (40,000 square feet) that includes an impressive array of activities designed to cater to all ages and interests. We got to visit on their very first day this past Saturday, during their “soft” opening to checkout all the hub-bub surrounding this new activity center. My expectations were somewhat low, as I was afraid my kids were either 1) too little to really enjoy this center or 2) would be terrified of the animatronic dinosaurs.
Well, I was WRONG on both accounts.
Whether you’re a gamer, or simply looking for a fun day out, there’s something for everyone. Not everything was quite 100% operational as this was their soft opening. The upstairs golf simulator and bar were closed off and not open to the public (yet) nor was the downstairs cafe up and running. (Although we did score some free drinks at one of their coolers, because trotting around for almost 2 hours, we worked up quite a sweat. So I was extremely thankful for that bonus.)
1. Thrilling Arcade Games: The arcade features an extensive collection of classic and modern games. From claw machines to racing simulators and everything in between, you can spend hours testing your skills and competing for prizes. Again, the benefit of attending their soft opening was getting a chance to play a few of their arcade games, some for FREE, which blew my mind. Our 4 year old especially enjoyed the Minecraft Legends game because he got to play with our entire family. But, then I had to explain on the car ride home that the next time we come back, that it actually costs money and we can’t have endless play. (Pretty sure my pep talk was a moot point since toddlers have the attention span of a gnat.)
2. Trampolines & Ninja Course: The upper deck had the trampoline park and ninja course with plenty of room for flips and tumbles. There also was a smaller section for our littles to enjoy that was completely separate from the tweens and teens. But both kids, got way too nervous which is why I initially didn’t elect to pay for the extra $5 on each of their tickets as you can add the trampoline park as an add-on item. For whatever reason they’ll tumble and jump on our couches and beds and home, but somehow a safe trampoline park is a no-no to them. *Cue forehead slap.* The sidelines also had multiple massage chairs and couches for parents and viewers to relax and watch.
3. Toddler Zone: Designed with younger kids in mind ages 5 and under, the indoor playground offers a safe and entertaining environment for children to climb, slide, and explore. Our kids did all the soft climbing toys, but again skipped the toddler bounce house. They also had several in-wall sensory games from noise makers to mazes. Our boys played with them all.
4. Arcade Redemption Prizes: Because we elected not to purchase an arcade card our kids didn’t collect tickets this time around. We’ll most likely do it the next time they have their full grand opening. Otherwise you can collect tickets from the games you play and redeem them for a wide range of exciting prizes, ensuring you can take home a piece of the fun.
They also said several VR attractions and a laser tag maze. And, I’m sure they’ll have the upstairs bar and golf simulator up and running before we know it.
Delicious Dining Options
Although it wasn’t open yet, their downstairs area located near the arcade did have an in-dining restaurant. So watch their website for when they release the full menu of options.

Worried about losing your stuff? They’ve thought about that too! They have convenient lockers you can rent to keep all your valuables in one place: safe and sound. Located near the redemption prizes desk and close to the trampoline park.
Overall, the kids were happy, sweaty and hungry: which means they had a great time! With an exciting mix of activities and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s definitely the ideal outing for families, date nights, and group celebrations.
